Data Access and Server Log Files
The Legal Provider and the company responsible for their hosting service collect User data that's generated while the User accesses the Service. This data is called server log data which is collected automatically. The server log data includes -but is not limited to,
- the name of the visited website
- date and time of visit
- the exchanged data
- browser type and version
- the operating system installed on the User's computer
- referrer URL - it's the URL or address that the User visited before they headed over to the Service
- User IP address
The Legal Provider uses this data only for statistical and security purposes and to provide a better User experience.
The Legal Provider, however, reserves themselves the right to check the server log data and use it in any way necessary in case of a security attack or in case the user tried to use the service in an illegal way that would pose a security threat or otherwise to the service.
Personal data is the information with the help of which a person or otherwise a device connected to the Internet can be identified. Personal data includes -but is not limited to,
- the name of the User
- the email address of the User
- the telephone number of the User
- the personal preferences of the User
- the websites visited by the User
User personal data is used by the Legal Provider only when it's legal and necessary to do so. Personal data is also used by the Legal Provider when the User consented to it voluntarily.
Contact Form and Email
If the User decides to use the contact form -the contact form can be found on the contact page- to contact the Legal Provider via email, all the exchanged data will be automatically saved. This is done in order to make sure that the Legal Provider can process the information and contact the User at a later time if necessary.
All the exchanged data is also saved even if the User uses the email address of the Legal Provider to contact the Legal Provider without using the contact form. In this case, the data is saved by the email server.
In any case, the data is automatically or manually deleted after a few months from the Legal Provider's servers.
If the User leaves a comment in the "News" function or any other place within the Sevice, their IP address will be automatically saved by the system.
Cookies are very small files in size that are generated by the server on behalf of the Legal Provider and stored on the User's computer so that the Service can study User's behavior on the service to analyze their preferences and needs and to be able to service the User better, based on those preferences, in the future.
The Service uses Google Analytics in order to study User behavior on the service and tailor the Service to their needs and preferences.
User data is collected, sent over to and saved on Google servers in the US. However, users' IP addresses are shortened and anonymized prior to the delivery of the data to the US. The User is practically consenting to their data being collected and analyzed by Google unless they choose to opt out of it.
The User can opt out of Google Analytics in two ways:
The Users can disable cookies in their browser settings -see above how to do that- but then their experience on the Service will be limited.
As a better solution, the User can keep accepting cookies in their browser but install a browser plugin that would make it possible for the User to opt out of the Google Analytics program safely. The browser plugin can be found at the link below that has been provided by Google.
